From the Watertown History Archives:  The opening day of the College — Sept. 14th, 1865 — will be occupied with a celebration suitable to the occasion and addresses will be delivered by different speakers in both English and German at 9 o’clock a.m. Exercises will begin at 11 o’clock a.m.
