Private School Choice Programs

Parental Choice Parents,

Your child(ren) is/are currently enrolled in the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program (MPCP), Racine Parental Choice Program (RPCP), or Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP). The open enrollments begin on February 1. 

All families must complete the application each year.

The open enrollments in which LPS participates for MPCP and RPCP are

February 1 – 20, April 1 – 22, and July 1 – 22.

If your child is returning to Luther Prep next year and is in MPCP or RPCP, please apply for school choice in the February open enrollment. Don’t wait until April or your child may be put on a waiting list.

The open enrollment for WPCP is

February 1 – April 18.

Once again, don’t wait until the end of the open enrollment to apply.Here is the link to the Online Parent Application:

Since your child is currently in one of the Parental Choice Programs we only have to verify residency and not also income. The easiest way to do that is to send us a copy of your most recent utility bill or W2 form. Be sure the parent(s) name(s) and address that you put into the Online Parent Application exactly matches your paperwork. You can scan or take a picture and email it to me or send it via the USPS. Please don’t wait to do this. We want to make sure we have time to do the verification.

If you have an 8th grader who will be coming to LPS next year, and if they aren’t currently in a school choice program, we will have to verify income as well as residency for that student. Unless you are absolutely sure that you qualify, please choose the DPI method of income verification.

This program is a blessing to so many of our families. We want your child to participate in it if you are eligible.
