Flight Itineraries for Thanksgiving

We are getting to that time when parents will start purchasing tickets for their children to fly home for the long Thanksgiving break. In the past, parents would make the flight arrangements and simply email the itineraries to the main office. With Reach, we are working to change the procedure this year. Now, those flight itineraries will be submitted by the students through a Leave Pass on Reach. Parents, please pay special attention to this change and help your child(ren) fill out the Leave Pass correctly. Here are the Leave Pass instructions:

  • From the app, click on the + in the black circle on the front page and select “New Leave Request”.
  • Select “Long Break” and follow the prompts.
  • When you get to Transport Type, please select “Flight”, Reach will prompt you with space to enter your flight information. The student will be entering the flight information both for his/her departure and your arrival. When the student is finished, an email is generated for the parents’ approval. This email will have all of the flight information. We ask the parents to check it for accuracy. Once the parent approves, then we will have the information to assign a tutor for the airport run.

 

These long break Leave Passes will need to be filled out at least 2 weeks before the student leaves! They can be filled out earlier when parents receive the flight itinerary, but they need to be in at least 2 weeks prior.
